We stayed in today. Izzy was running a low fever and has a runny nose. We skipped our Summer Movie, Alvin & The Chipmunks, and watched it at home instead. The girls enjoyed it, mostly I think because it had music in it and I made popcorn.
Back to the subject of my post. Last night Izzy discovered she can open the gate in the family room, which means trouble for mommy & daddy because she lets her sister out as well. I also realized Raena is putting sentences together quite well. For instance, 'I don't want to take a nap!'. After her little protest she did nap. None the less, she's going to be 2 in less than a month and getting quite talkative.
That's it for now, I need to start prepping for dinner.

well I am all caught up (unitl you post again HA AH) but I wantde to say that they just NEVER STOP growing up!
I have a love it hate it feeling going on. I remember when mine were so little they required GEAR, and it was a chore to keep up with them...but I also remember little toes and cuddles with mommy - well I still sneak those in, but don't tell them I told you!
Anyway, *sigh* just had to say, growing up is what they do...regardless of how many rules you make about it! HA HA!
Sorry about your new found trouble!
I have to say, though, I laughed -- not in a nasty or critical way so don't take me wrong -- my girls have the run of the whole house and whole yard! We have 6 doors to the outside that are always open. The only thing closed is the gate to our lane! I always know where they are and have and eye and ear out for them but they run wild and free!
I wish I could give the girls that freedom! That's a draw back of where we live. I know I had it when I was their age.
It is part of why I love living here.
